Patricia Riggs

Patricia Riggs is a citizen of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo and serves as its Director of Economic Development. In that capacity, she administers economic development initiatives, oversees economic strategic planning and analyzes proposed economic projects and investments. She has helped to launch several initiatives on behalf of her nation, including: the Project Pueblo Economic Revitalization Project, the establishment of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Court, and the founding of Tigua, Inc. (Ysleta del Sur's economic development holding company). Riggs previously worked with organizations such as the Tribal Law and Policy Institute and the Planned Parenthood Center of El Paso. She has served on numerous boards, such as the Tribal Law and Policy Institute Advisory Board and the Tribal Justice Resource Center Management Oversight Committee. She has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
